The Moon You & I share: Poem
The sky You & I share
The moonlight you & I stare
The stars that sings hums soft lullaby
To restless hearts passing by
That familiar ache, that tender lie,
A whisper beneath the endless sky —
It comes and goes like evening air,
Yet leaves its silver shimmer there.
However the color of our skin
may skin vary
Different stories we each may carry
But our hearts holds the string
Clearly and dearly
So many angles
So many shades
Yet the autumn of sunflower
& the hope that stands tall in each hour
For beneath the sun, beneath the rain,
Beyond all joy, beyond all pain,
The truth remains — both near and far:
You and I share the same sky, the same star.
