The Berlin Wall: Poem
The Berlin Wall
Cracked walls
& Cracked souls
Burning in fire
In connected wire
Lives here n there
Seeking comfort
Seeking peace
Dwellers of fire
seeking a grace
Perhaps an unknown passerby
Might have crossed by
A silent tear or an echo
wish create a wave in a fellow
Names buried in blood of Sand
Dreams buried by razored hands
Footsteps cherished under fear
Songs of joy closed in canned
Mothers stitched hope in a pockets
While children played in divided sun
Fathers memoried peace by banned
In chaos where toddlers learnt to run
When walls only heard
& didnt answered
Our cracked love blossom
And hope for freedom
The Berlin Wall
May rise and again fall
Only to adjust to song
To sing in spring & fall
