Fireflies of your memories : Poem

 

I chase fireflies 

Of your memories

Like wandering &

Smitten butterfly

Wandering amid 

The thick-flurred gloom

I loose myself

Yet dance in a boom

The burning candle

Carry out your flame

The wafting wind

Spells out your name

The mystical haze 

of your eyes

captures my heart

Where wonder lies

And in that gaze,

So soft, so true,

Forever falling

Feels brand new.

What began as a fleeting spark

Turns into endless start,

For loving you

Is an art.
