Somewhere in deep trackless Sands: Poem
Somewhere in deep trackless Sands
Where the Dunes waves rise & fall
Yet the footsteps refuse forgetting
& Etched with stubborn its gall
The gutsy winds whispering
Its secrets & lore
To souls whoever enter
Its door
I found tracks leading to
Brunette casket
Wrapped in old and
Tattered fabric
Wondered what’s inside
I wondered what’s inside
Maybe someone’s heart desire
Or perhaps someone’s soul delight
I carried along with me
The secrets layered deep inside
The weight I couldn’t name
Unclaimed, unnamed, untamed.
