Waiting for You: Poem
Waiting for you
As the sun runs down
To east aisle bay
And the feathered friend
Head back to lay
The eventide may
Set day apart
Yet your fondling memories
Led to start
Your presence may be
Miles away
Yet with each second
You beat within my heart
To the existence you never knew
Now I wish, you ever knew
The relentless thief of our
Kinship
Bestowed us with
The myriad of reminiscence
Each night, when i returned
Lone to home
Every corner is calling you
& I am waiting back
In corner to our home
A frail hope- does not die
Like a star lingering unto the sky
And if by chance you wander through,
Know this heart still waits — for you.
