Thousands Steps: Poem

 

Of thousands steps

Walking with you, 

& of every steps

And every moment

With you

I can’t help

But wondering about you

I have lone walked for 

Many years

But never have I imagined

The road ahead of me

Is bringing me near

To destiny I have never Imagined

The road I once walked

Was full of dimly light

Now ahead of me

I see staggering, shimmery light

You’re footsteps 

Now, leading my way

& I can’t resist 

being carried away

Each breeze hums
Your  name,
Each sunrise feels
No longer the same.

The stars above
Whisper our rhyme,
Two wandering souls
Now dancing in time.

So if the path bends,
Or night falls anew,
I’ll still walk a thousand steps —
As long as they lead to you.
