SNOWY RIDE

Once in glittery night, when the moon was bright,
The flakes that were snow white, were swiftly moving with glide.
Wearing a silver gear, with my knight,
I left my home on for a snowy ride.

Behind our backs, the folks begin to despise,
And the stars begin to write of destiny of You & I.
The forest hummed with whispers, soft and shy,
As if the world itself conspired to let us fly.

Your hand in mine, a warmth in winter’s chill,
Every heartbeat echoing, tender, still.
Through frosted air, our laughter drew a flame,
Two souls entwined, beyond reproach or shame.

No kingdom, no crown, no vow could sever,
The tale the skies inked—forever and ever.
And though the night would fade, as all nights must,
Our love was carved in stars, a bond of trust.
