Letter to a friend: Dear friend I hear You.
Dear Friend,
I hear you 💙. I know you’re carrying so much pain right now, and it breaks my heart that you’re facing this alone. Please know, even if I’m sitting far away, I’m holding you in thought and care. Crying spells may feel overwhelming, but they’re not weakness — they’re your body’s way of releasing what words can’t always hold.
I want to gently share some steps that might help you find comfort and strength through this:
🌱 Allow the Tears Without Shame
Don’t judge yourself for crying. Instead, let it flow. You can even create a small “safe space” for it — soft music, a warm blanket, or journaling afterward.
🪞 Notice the Triggers
Try jotting down what happens right before the tears. Is it criticism, silence, or lack of affection? Naming the wound is the first step toward healing it.
💛 Be Kind to Yourself
Speak to yourself as you would to me or any close friend: “You don’t deserve unkindness. Your feelings matter.” Even a hand over your heart when you feel low can remind you that you are loved.
🌿 Collect Small Joys
Go for a walk, read something inspiring, call a trusted friend, pray, meditate, or write. Tiny joys add up and refill your spirit.
🧩 Hold Gentle Boundaries
If words or actions cross a line, it’s okay to say, calmly and firmly:
“I don’t deserve to be spoken to this way.”
“I need a break from this conversation.”
This isn’t punishment — it’s protection.
🤝 Reach Out Beyond Him
Therapists, close friends, family, or women’s circles can remind you that you’re not alone. And please — if things ever feel unsafe, lean on hotlines or safe networks.
🌺 Remember Your Worth
Your value is not tied to how he treats you. Begin pouring into yourself — whether financially, emotionally, or socially. Build roots in your own strength, not in his approval.
💡 Healing isn’t instant. It’s a journey of little daily acts — breathing, soothing, affirming your worth — until you feel whole again.
I’m here, always, even if only through words on a screen. You’re stronger than you feel right now, and you are not alone in this.
With love and care,
Your friend who’s only a message away
