Jumpy Jack Juggles Juicy Jalapeno Joyfully in January

 

It was a chilly January morning, but Jumpy Jack was feeling fiery. "This year," he declared to the townsfolk, "I'm spicing things up!" Armed with a basket of the juiciest jalapeños, he set up his juggling act in the park.

As Jack started juggling, the peppers flew high, glinting in the winter sun. The crowd cheered as Jack added more and more jalapeños to the mix. Five, six, seven! He was a green blur of talent. But then—disaster struck.

A rogue jalapeño burst mid-air, splattering Jack right in the face. His joyful grin turned into a grimace as the spice hit his eyes. "HOT! TOO HOT!" he yelped, dropping the peppers and rolling in the snow to cool off. The crowd, thinking it was all part of the show, erupted in applause.

Jack, ever the showman, popped up with a bow, eyes red but spirit unbroken. From that day on, he was known as Jumpy Jack, the Jalapeño Juggler Extraordinaire. And though he swore off spicy juggling, he never missed an opportunity to remind everyone: "It’s all fun and games until the jalapeño bites back!"
